Job Summary

The Operations Specialist at Breckenridge supports our wholesale property and casualty insurance division. This position is responsible for supporting the effective use of the agency management system for all aspects of the workflows and efficiencies associated with the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Delivers accurate and efficient system administration including adding, updating and maintaining user information, security rights, agency and company information, forms & templates and appropriately mapping data
  • Creates and maintains appropriate documentation such as user manuals and administration manuals
  • Monitors the help desk queue and, in conjunction with users, isolates problems from symptoms, determines solution or alternatives, develops and implements a timely resolution and communicates procedure changes with all users as appropriate
  • Provides training to new users as well as current users to ensure consistency with best practices, both in person and through appropriate use of technology and documentation (videos, user manuals, etc.)
  • Acts as a liaison between users and vendor partners, including outsourced vendors and resources
  • Develops worksheets and other forms for end-users and maps worksheet information to the database
  • Identifies trends, issues, inconsistencies of use, etc. to determine current and future needs
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business, information technology or related field
  • Prior property & casualty insurance experience is required.
  • Prior insurance agency system administration experience for a property and casualty agency strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use technology effectively and efficiently, including MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
